Erin

Hello! My name is Erin, and I have been working as a registered hospital midwife at both North shore and Waitākere Hospital in Auckland since 2019. I am now also based at Helensville Birthing Centre, and have the privilege of being able to spend quality time supporting, teaching and caring for women, babies and their whānau.

I view pregnancy and birth as natural life events and have confidence in the ability of women’s bodies during this time. I believe in providing holistic care and evidence-based practice to empower women to make informed decisions.

Midwifery has become a real passion for me and I feel privileged working alongside women to help them achieve the experience they desire whether this is through their pregnancy, during birth or the postpartum period.
