August 4, 2023 9:35 amCongratulations on your pregnancy, what an exciting time! I am lucky enough to be raised by a wonderful Midwife so I have understood the beauty of birth from an early age. I was able to support my sisters in their transition to motherhood which led me to start my career as a Midwife. Having completed a couple years as a core Midwife between Lower Hutt, North Shore and Waitākere Hospital, I feel confident with the skills I am able to provide. I am very passionate about womens’ health, positive and empowering births. I believe birth is a natural process and strive to give you all the tools and information necessary so you can make independent choices that align with your family values during pregnancy and beyond. I support women who wish to give birth at home, in the Helensville Birthing Centre and at the hospital, with a focus on natural birth. I work with a supportive and like-minded practice partner, Karana Lockie, with the support of the Kumeū & Helensville Midwives.
